The Dillon Horse Sale raised over 35000 dollars in a brisk sale last Friday to buyers from Utah Western Canada the Dakotas and across Montana. Carloads from Idaho were shipped in prior to the event with several companies selling out and the sale expected to grow for an April 9 event.

Robbery Charge Involving Wm Brock And John Butler
Chief Sassman arrested Wm Brock on a robbery charge after John Butler cashed an $80 check at a Buffet bar and, while intoxicated, left by the rear door. A witness said Brock followed Butler and used force in an alley behind the saloon. Both men were jailed. Butler declined prosecution.

Public school teacher Mic Delia Dorchester was struck by a large dog on Idaho Street between Hufers Jewelery and the State K. She sustained a compound fracture of the left leg above the ankle and was cared for at Huber's Jewelery, then sent home. Dr. Poindexter reports she is progressing and the fracture should knit rapidly.

Cattle Shipped East to Kansas City Market
Four cattle cars were shipped to the Kansas City market Tuesday afternoon. Theodore Nelson sold the cattle to Walter Anderson of Idaho Falls Idaho. The cattle averaged 1250 pounds each.

Famous Reynolds Ranch Sold to Big Hole Rancher
The famed Reynolds ranch near Dillon, Beaverhead County, 769 acres, sold last Tuesday to Lorain Spencer for 65 dollars per acre. Spencer, a longtime Dillon resident, plans to move cattle from the Big Hole basin to the ranch and develop the property further.
