The Tribune reports a January surge in land and property transfers across Dillon and surrounding districts. Multiple parcels and lodes change hands including Big Hole Basin claims, Argenta district sites, and Dillon lots.
January records from the County Recorder list numerous claimants with lodes and placer claims across Bannack Montana Elkhorn Vipond Blue Wing and other districts. Notable names include Geo W Perkins Henry Dengler Patrick J Kelly John Miles and John Penaluns among many others with lodes such as Eclipse Crown Point and Niagara and placer grounds on Grasshopper Creek.
Walter N. Wallace of Washington New Mexico says a cough began a chain of ailments ending in consumption but he used Dr Acker's English Remedy at first cough and believes it saved his life. Sold by White City Drug Store.
