Angel de paix aids Lefebvre family in New Year reconciliation
In Louisiana at Cote Blanche an elderly farmer Jacques Lefebvre, estranged from his daughter Laure and her husband Harry Wood, experiences a New Year visit by Laure’s mother and the priest Pere Joseph. After years of hardship and severed ties, the old man confronts his pride as Laure vows to stay with her invalid husband, and the family is reunited as the priest proclaims the angel of peace has conquered.
