Timely note extols Dillon Montana creamery ready to operate with up to date machinery. A Cascade county rancher shares milk profits from six cows and advises ranchers to supply milk, noting costs, labor, and calf disposal, plus pay rates and year round of cash income.
M. L. Clifford of Butte was brought to Justice Rich, pled not guilty to grand larceny, and a preliminary trial date was set. The traveling representative for the St. Paul Broom company allegedly collected about $1,200 and did not account, with prior bail posted before a later embezzlement accusation in Dillon.
Jimmie McLaughlin was arrested this morning on a rape charge. He pled not guilty at arraignment before Justice of the Peace Rich, with a preliminary hearing set for Wednesday January 4. Bond was set at 1000 dollars and had not been posted. The warrant was sworn by O. J. Shell and the victim named is his 16 year old daughter Eulab. The assault reportedly occurred about 2 30 this morning while escorting the girl home from Dart's hall near the Hood residence.
Superintendent Miss Rich divided District No 7 on Horse Prairie creating District No 30 due to rising pupil numbers. District No 7 now serves 25 pupils while No 80 has 17 pupils.

City council in special session rejects a $10,000 extras claim for water works by B E Jacobs while agreeing to a $1,200 building on two lots leased from T M Selway on Idaho Street. Norris resigns as clerk. Poindexter resigns alderman post and George French becomes council president. Next week a ward 3 alderman will be elected.
Hollywood Circle 565 Women of Woodcraft hosted eight surprise party at Mrs. J. 8. Mathes home for charter member Mrs. John Clemo who is moving to Pocatello Idaho. The evening featured music and flinch with silver cream saddle gift. Many members could not attend.
