Beaverhead County Commissioners Meet in 1922 Session
Beaverhead County Montana commissioners convened December 4 1922 with Chairman Shaw and commissioners Gosman Anderson and Deputy Clerk Fuller present. Corrections were made to prior minutes hospital equipment. They authorized calling 16500 dollars of county high school bonds and opened bids for county physician and printing contracts from resident physicians. The large bid offered was 1100 dollars per year for a one year term starting January 1 1928.

The Beaverhead board postponed actions for further investigation, granted a 30 day leave of absence, and set the next regular meeting for January 2, 1922. J. E. Shaw was authorized to set a 1923 contract per bids. A county physician bid from Dr. W H Stephan covers medical care for the poor, inmates, and jail, with travel expenses capped at 100 dollars.
