Clements Wins Out in Felony Dismissal Case
The trial of A. B. Clements former secretary of the Aetna Banking and Trust company on a felony charge began in Judge Bourquin's court. The state contends the bank stock of 100000 was not fully paid despite a May 28 1908 statement. Evidence shows cash payments only 2500 on July 1 1901 and a complex set of notes and securities backing the stock.
