Dillon Aims High with New School Building Plans
The Dillon school system outlines rapid growth since 1883 with seven teachers and a 802 student public school. A new two-story brick building to seat 800 more pupils is planned, alongside a reformed curriculum, vocal music, calisthenics, and two literary societies Alpha and Delta. The State Normal School project is described with a modern Montana Normal campus near Beaverhead Valley and plans for a June 1897 opening.
