Thanksgiving supper brightens Meadow Creek gathering

Hecla Snow Slides Kill Six In Weeklong Disaster

A telegraphic report details Hecla snow slides last week that killed six people and injured thirteen across three slides. Nicholas Bergstrom and his two children perished Friday night, while others were rescued. a later avalanche Sunday caused further damage but no injuries.
