Narrow Escape After Freight Train Wreck Near Divide

New Yellowstone Geyser Erupts Near Fountain Hotel

Biggest blast in Lemhi county shocks Salmon Idaho
The largest fulminatory blast in Lemhi county history rocked the Indian reservation Saturday night as 4200 pounds of powder were detonated to collapse a rock face near the G. and P. railroad. A coyote tunnel hid the charge and a lone worker stood 800 feet away as the mountain slid in a thunderous discharge around 11 PM. No damage occurred.
