Thomas M. O Connor a renowned regional contractor died Wednesday morning from heart failure after a brief illness. A Syracuse native born 1837 he built many Dillon landmarks and worked on the Oregon Short Line route before settling here. Funeral services were held at the Episcopal church with Masonic rites and burial at Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. M P Tibdo of Dillon filed suit against A L Stone cashier of the State Bank of Dillon for 10000 damages alleging a defamatory letter published to Boarman and Kinerk at Butte harmed her reputation. The suit cites July 11 1906 as the publication date and names attorneys John R Boarman Eugene E Kinerk.
