City Council Likely Grants Electric Franchise in Dillon
The Dillon city council met in regular session with all aldermen present. Mr. Thomas of Northwestern General Electric Light Company sought an electric light franchise for Dillon. The council resolved to grant the franchise and sent it to City Attorney Edwin Norris for modification. A special meeting tonight may finalize the ordinance. An additional ordinance requires guards for dangerous sidewalk places and water ditch usage plans by lot owners.
