Jennie Miller wife of John T. Miller died Friday at the ranch of W F Lick on the east bench. Death caused by paralysis after months of illness. Remains embalmed in Dillon and shipped to Tacoma for burial with Mr Miller accompanying. Born Fairfield Iowa 64 years ago a county resident five years. Mother of ten children five living. Mrs W F Lick is a daughter. R S Miller a dry farmer east of town is a son.

Court actions seek disposal of liquor and car
County Attorney W G Gilbert filed in District Court this week to dispose of 18 gallons of liquor and a Ford runabout confiscated from Clarence Barry and Bissel Austin. Mike Dorrity Mike Donelly and Fred Martin were held at the city calaboose after being charged with intoxication. A warrant was issued for Val Tadovich accused of cutting an irrigation ditch, his second offense.
