Mrs Ida Benson 80 Found Dead in Beaverhead County
Mrs Ida Benson aged 80 was found dead at her home Tuesday by her son Charles. A long time Montana resident, she moved to Beaverhead County 36 years ago after arriving from Sweden in 1858. Naturalized in Butte in 1892, she leaves two sons.

Prominent Citizen Dies Here Sunday in Dillon
Albert C. Gruwell, 67, longtime Dillon resident and former city police officer, died Sunday after a long illness. Born July 20, 1870 in Marshalltown Iowa, he arrived in Dillon in 1901 and helped organize the first volunteer fire department serving as chief and aiding early firefighting equipment. Survived by his wife a step-daughter Gladys Nemich of Butte and son Curtis of Dillon. funeral at Brundage chapel with Elks rites and burial at Mountain View cemetery.

Last rites for Mike Boka at St Rose Church

Monida Car Crash Injures Two Men
A car driven by Clarence Ryser of Rigby Idaho overturned multiple times after careening from Highway 91 near Monida injuring Ryser and hitchhiker Ray Edwards.
