Miss Fanny Cahill of Dillon Montana died after a five week illness at her home on South Atlantic street. She was 50, born Alder Gulch near Virginia City, lifelong Montana resident, devout Catholic and businesswoman. She is survived by four sisters and a brother Henry Cahill. Funeral Mass held at the Catholic church with burial in Mountain View cemetery.

Tom Whitworth Dead at 60 in Grant Cabin
Tom Whitworth aged 60 died in his sleep at a Grant area cabin Tuesday night and neighbor found his body next morning. Remains taken to Dillon by H. M. Brundage as relatives are sought. He lived about 20 years in Medicine Lodge region and worked as a ranch hand. A marriage license was issued Tuesday afternoon to Fred A. Gailey of Idaho Falls and Zelda L. Later of Rigby. They wed before Judge Opp.

Tom Pierce a prominent young ranchman of Medicine Lodge is in a critical condition at a Butte hospital. He had come to Butte for two weeks of treatment for a stomach ailment and planned a Mayo Clinic visit in Rochester Minnesota. An operation was performed Tuesday and he briefly rallied before a sinking spell Wednesday night.
