Remey to Face Grand Larceny Charge After Manslaughter Conviction
County Attorney Leon A. LaCroix announced plans to file an information against Camille F. Remey for grand larceny in Helena Montana. The charges stem from the theft of Wason J. Oliver’s property valued at about 750, with Remey admitting moving parts of the Oliver outfit between Helena and Nelson British Columbia. The case faces potential trial before Remey’s departure to Deer Lodge following a manslaughter sentence. The six Canadian forgery counts are seen as unlikely to be pursued.
