Troops Leave Telluride Amid Deportations and Strikes

Special reports from Telluride say martial law troops departed toward home stations leaving under 100 militiamen at Camp Telluride. Five military prisoners and seven deported miners were sent to Ridgeway, with some evicted residents returning under injunction protection. President Moyer remains jailed but housed under guard at a hotel. Negotiations between mine operators and unions are denied as futile by Telluride union officials due to militia actions.
