City Primaries Nominations and Vote Totals
At the city primaries held Saturday evening voters favored A L Anderson in the 1st Ward with 40 votes over Henry Burfeind 23. In the 2nd Ward Leonard Eliel was acclaimed with Barton 36 and Jewell 24 trailing. In the 3rd Ward Grant Haynes 29 and Crowell 31 led Poindexter Jr 18 and Conger unknown.

Dillon Western Building Loan Association Organized
The Dillon Branch of the Western Loan and Savings company was organized at city hall last Friday evening. S. A. Taylor called the meeting to order with Mayor Padley as chair and W. H. Cochran as secretary pro tem. Fidel Huber was elected president with Harlan J. Thompson as vice president and Amos C. Hammond as local agent. Trustees include John F. Bishop and others. appraisers named Chas. H. Padley and colleagues. The organization aims for one year terms with a promising outlook for local progress and civic support.

Allen and Yee released Tuesday gave friends in jail whiskey pouring four or five bottles through a funnel. By about 3 PM Wednesday prisoners not in cells fought until the sheriff found them and locked everyone up including Allen and Yoo.
