Normal college opens autumn term with steady enrollment
The autumn quarter begins at the Normal college on September 28 with enrollment expected near last year’s level. Many students arrive by train and bus, Dillon hosts will aid new arrivals, and reconstruction redirects arrivals to the north street unloading area. Eighty to ninety percent of last year’s graduates pursued teaching careers, keeping Montana’s teacher supply steady. Beaverhead county’s voter registration soars to over 4,330 for the November election, up 200 from two years ago, with books closed but cards still arriving.
