The 4 H Livestock Sale at Beaverhead County Fair on September 2 sold 41 fat beef cattle at 37.9 cents per pound and 25 lambs at 56.3 cents per pound. Carla Andrus sold the high calf at 60 cents per pound to Roberts Food Market. a 995 pound steer earned $597. Veronica Bolick’s top lamb sold at 70 cents per pound to Paul’s Chevrolet of Dillon. Gregovich Granted Plea Extension in Dillon District Court
Mike Gregovich, proprietor of the Dillon Hotel, was granted until 10:00 am Thursday to enter a plea on an involuntary manslaughter charge. The case stems from a August 17 highway collision near Brown's Bridge on U S Highway 91, which killed his father John Gregovich and injured Clyde Smith and Minnie Stewart. The trial will be held in Beaverhead County District Court.
