The Beaverhead high school and the training school opened for the term last Monday with higher, though not yet finalized, attendance. Three new teachers joined the high school faculty including Yale Waterman who becomes football coach and science teacher. Mr and Mrs Allen Roberts also joined the staff with Mr Roberts teaching social science and directing boys gym classes and basketball coaching.
Tom Ed munds a deputy state game warden arrested Jess Bailey on Long Tomamar August 24 for a paying the $25 fine imposed by Justice See O Neil.
The local Rotary chapter announced a second of its kind action in the United States. A congratulatory message was received from Mr Gudaker and from Mr Bender district governor.
