County Politics Warming Up in Local Races
The county Republican scene shows no clear winners from last Saturday's primaries. Conventions will shape the sheriff race, county clerk and recorder, and other offices as eight to ten yellowheaded McKinley Republicans may influence the outcome, with leaders among Decker and Mulany potential double crosses. The Seventh annual A O U W convention in Helena elected officers and set plans for the grand lodge, with honors awarded to several officials.
