The Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul Railway announces a new Sleeping car feature on its Southwest Limited trains from Chicago to Kansas City. White counterpanes or bedspreads replace heavy woolen blankets during the warm season, with blankets kept in reserve for cooler nights.

Beaverhead County Seeks Bids For Road Work 1909
Beaverhead County Montana commissioners will open sealed bids August 9 1909 for a county road from the S E corner of the S W quarter section to the Big Hole road including bridge plank delivery at Grays and three fourths mile graveling east of Ames and west of Harrison s. The county may retain a road to Polaris and Big Hole road for stock drive. Bids require 5 percent certified check and may be rejected. The county engineer will provide full specifications August 7.
