Reopening of Montana pipeline rate dispute urged
The Lewistown refinery petitions the Montana state railroad commission to reopen oil pipeline rates. It seeks to abolish the Cat Creek Winnett rate of 32 1/2 cents and set 15 cents per barrel, arguing open competition was the legislature’s goal. Elk Basin backs 15 cents while Independent Line reports no shipments.
