Overland Car Serves Snowbound England to Russia Route
Amid European war, a route via Newcastle to Karangi Finland was tested with harsh winter temps and poor roads. An Overland car proved most reliable delivering passengers from Karangi to Torneo, charging 0.50 to 5.00 per trip while the hood stayed wrapped and the radiator cooled nightly. The venture ran four to five months until railway extension. Ordered and paid for by the Good Government Club of Dillon.
