Household Tips From a Past Era
A set of practical kitchen notes covers rust prevention for metal wastebaskets by waxing inside and out, using a gold fish bowl for whipping cream, reducing splatter, and flavoring roast juice with gingersnaps. It also offers a makeshift apple cover from a funnel bottom, reheating bread in a paper sack, and serving raw turnips with salt like celery.
