District Court in Session in Dillon Presides Over Varied Docket
Judge J. B. Poindexter presides as several cases are disposed with pleas and trials set. Defendants include Stanley Austin who pled guilty to burglary and faces three years, Chris Jensen who pled guilty to forgery and receives prison time, and Karl Bassett charged as a white slaver awaiting defense. Many cases scheduled for December and January cover burglary grand larceny murder forgery and other charges with numerous trial dates and motions. He had not been seen since last July and reportedly died weeks ago while pursuing metal. His body will be buried at Jackson after imminent retrieval from the high cabin and snow.

Frank T Conway dies after apoplexy in Virginia City
Frank T Conway editor of the Virginia City Madisonian died suddenly at 8:30 p m Sunday following apoplexy. He was 45 and left a wife Nettie Wiley and two sons aged nine and five. A veteran Montana newspaper man he previously worked for the Dillon Examiner Missoulian and Anaconda Standard before leading the Madisonian. Funeral services planned for this afternoon at his home with Rev Wiley Mountjoy officiating.
