Worst hunting season ends with sparse catches in high country
The season closes amid scarce deer and elk as drought and late snows keep game in the hills. Ducks and geese are scarce though pheasant and antelope hunts were decent. one hunter mistook an antelope for a deer and faced no prosecution.
