Chrysler announces the new six cylinder model the Chrysler 60 priced from 1075 to 1295 f o b Detroit via Beaverhead Auto Sales. It joins the Chrysler line with features like a six cylinder L head engine and 22 mpg fuel economy aimed at offering quality and performance at a low price.
James Peebles, longtime Montana resident and Beaverhead County herder, died at Barrett hospital Monday night at age 74. Born in Pennsylvania, he lived in Montana over 42 years and worked as a sheep herder on multiple ranches. Relatives in Pennsylvania survive. Advertised real estate listing follows.
A trio of recitals by Miss Nellie and Miss Grace Little’s pupils highlighted National Music Week. The shows included a Grace Little violin recital, a Nellie Little piano recital, and a joint violin and piano performance, all praised for skill and progress. Large crowds attended the training school and Lima high school events, with additional performances planned for May 20 at the Training School auditorium.
