Peg Leg the Mexican Smuggler Haunts Arizona Border
For nearly four decades the reputed smuggler nicknamed Peg Leg has crossed the Arizona border with a burro and kegged mescal, evading lawmen. Deputy Lee Hall recalls tracking him from Bisbee to Naco across rugged terrain as Peg Leg carried 30 gallons of liquor and a pistol, finally surrendering under pursuit.

Reduction of Prices on Chrysler 70 Model Announced
Detroit May 8 Walter P Chrysler president of the Chrysler corporation announces the most remarkable price reductions in the company history effective at midnight. Reductions on the six cylinder 70 model range from 50 to 200 with no changes in engineering manufacturing or equipment. The decrease is attributed to a large increase in six cylinder production and first quarter retail deliveries are up 1 percent over last year. Orders on hand promise further gains in the coming quarters. An Examiner want ad is an inexpensive but efficient salesman.
