Northwest traffic to Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Expo may top a million

Seattle May 19. Traffic officials estimate that at least 1,000,000 people will pass through Minneapolis or St. Paul during the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition period. They assign 400,000 to the Northern Pacific and 400,000 to the Great Northern, with 200,000 to the Milwaukee. The influx is blamed on the Northwest’s growth and the expo’s publicity, drawing colonists of a high grade from Minnesota, the Dakotas, Nebraska, and Montana.
