Robert McDowell Laid to Rest in Mountain View Cemetery
The remains of Robert McDowell were interred in Mountain View cemetery last Friday afternoon. Funeral services were held from the Masonic hall at 2:30 under the auspices of Dillon lodge No. 238 A F and A M which paid its last tribute. Worshipful Master L K Adams led the impressive masonic rites with Rev W S Watson reading prayers. Pallbearers were Harry Schuler W Fr Chapman Bert Dunbar George Melton T E Gilbert and R J Bidstrup.

Roy Jackson bought the Buffet saloon from Dan Grant last Saturday and has taken possession. Jackson, linked to saloon work for three years, previously ran the Mill Point road house rented from George Gray. He and his family moved to Dillon recently and reside on South Pacific Street.
