Nighttime intruder foiled by store clerk in Beaverhead
Early Saturday a Beaverhead Grocery Co. clerk, George Mittlemeir, awoke to a break in. He grabbed a revolver and fired a shot that missed the intruder, a woman, who fled northward after the yelp. The bullet lodged in the floor about ten feet away.
