Land Rights Restored Under New Interior Ruling
The U S land offices are notified of a secretary of the interior ruling restoring land rights to those who lost them perhaps through no fault of their own. The new oath restricts ownership to 320 acres in aggregate with current claims, replacing the prior rule that merely entering 320 acres exhausted rights. The change follows a January 19 1904 interior department letter.
