Wool parity rises as incentive payments lift parity price

The parity price effective Jan 15 is 60.1 cents, up from 58.6, aided by incorporating the 1955 incentive level of 62 cents into the base period. J M Casey Jones notes parity should rise as more of the 10 year base reflects the incentive level and calls the move a boon to the sheep industry.
