Mr Frank Eliel hosted a Monday dinner at the Eliel home honoring the young men of the Eliel Brothers basketball team the city champions. Spring flowers decorated the pretentious residence as guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and festive atmosphere.
The event notes a dinner served at six in the evening following which dinner cards were enjoyed. It was a stag affair with twelve young men invited to attend.
Last Sunday afternoon a St. Patrick tea was hosted at the west side home of W T Scully with Miss Phyllis Telin among the hostesses. About thirty girls attended as St Patrick decorations set the scene. A bridge dinner for Tuesday was issued by Mrs John Collins.
A stag dinner honoring Beaverhead County High School basketball team is planned for next Tuesday evening. The event will be at the Camel Inn on South Pacific Street and hosted by Amos Wright at his home.
The Elien May guild hosts tomorrow afternoon at 817 South Idaho street with Mrs. Bruce Hollister and others discussing The Southern Mountaineers. Miss Clara Plant entertained the M. M. club last week. Hylo Pinochle club plans a March 17 meeting with Miss Clara Adams. PTA to meet March 15 at 3 30 in the training school assembly room.
Mrs Celia Montgomery visits Dillon from Anaconda and stays with George Lennox. Mrs Ella Hobson and Mrs E B Sprinkle were visitors in Butte at the start of the week. Mrs Lester Loble of Helena guests W B Hartwig in town. Ellen Sorenson moves to Chicago for a new home and position. Mrs Harvey Sorenson returns from California. Mrs Clark Anderson and son return from Los Angeles. Mrs George Gosman and daughter visit Chicago two months with Mrs Roy LeKander.
Stop eye defects and improve health through a talk by H. H. Scarborough at the Andrus Hotel. Sessions run Wednesday and Thursday March 9 and 10 with details in the Examiner advertisement.
The Dillon Co Operative plans a large expansion for sheep shares this year spanning Dillon Twin Bridges Sheridan Whitehall and Three Forks. Lewis Penwell of Helena oversees summer operations with contracts to place 6000 7000 ewes prior to fall delivery.
District Court proceedings in Beaverhead County Montana include estate matters for Edward G. Krantz and Mary R. Gasser with creditor claims and sale orders, a round up of estray stock on the Beaverhead National Forest, and private sale of mining claims in Argenta Montana under Beaverhead County authority. John B. Somers signs as Forest Supervisor and Theo F. McFadden as estate administrator.
Frank Eliel as Executor of the Adolph Eliel deceased estate publishes a notice to creditors. Creditors must exhibit claims with vouchers within ten months after first publication to Gilbert Gilbert & McFadden in Dillon Montana for settlement of Beaverhead County matters. A. Risley gives notice that the delinquent tax sale of the described parcels in Section 20 Township 6 South Range 9 West Montana is complete. The redemption period expired January 22, 1927. He will apply to the Beaverhead County Treasurer for a deed on March 25, 1927.
