Stockholders Meet in Dillon Over County Fair Prospects
A well attended session of W Beaverhead County Fair association stockholders at the court house expressed strong hope for a successful county fair next fall. Costs to improve fair grounds and last year’s weather prompted a stock drive and a plan to cut unnecessary expenses. The four day fair would include local horse races and outside entrants with minimal expense, possibly a fiat carnival company for entertainment. New directors were elected with George Featherly as president and C A Smith as vice president, with S Carruthers, secretary, and B F White, treasurer.
