Lima assembly No 47 ORG held its February meeting at the Masonic hall with Anna Jeanne Knox presiding. Rose Hungate and Janet Gravely were installed as officers. committees named. Pythian Sisters met with Hazel McNinch and Helen Kennedy installed. VFW auxiliary met with ten members. March 26 meeting set for officer elections. Neighbors of Woodcraft Springhill circle to meet March 5. CES sewing club hosted 17 members with bake sale plans for March 8 and next meeting March 12.

St Patrick’s Dance in Lima March 14 At Gym
The 35th annual St Patrick’s dance will be at the Lima gym on March 14 with a live orchestra. Tickets feature two or three cakes auctioned during intermission. Attendees include local residents like Mr Donald Raddatz and Mr Ken Koho who traveled to Dillon on business.

Dillon Rotary Heard Students and Publishers Speak
Dillon Rotary Club heard Beaverhead county high school student Connie South and Dan Henneberry co publisher of the Dillon Examiner speak at the Elks hall. South shared insights from the national 4 H club Congress in Chicago last December while Henneberry outlined his path in printing and publishing. Five directors were elected from ten nominees: Harry Andersen Albert Cochrane Dr L L Lindley Clifford Mockel Weldon Payne. Guests included H Glaker C C Larkin from Pocatello Idaho and Harold Peterson. C C Larkin was introduced as a new member. Winfield Page of Missoula will address a future meeting on aspects of the Little Hoover Commission report to Montana government.

Soroptimists Seek Hobby Exhibits For March 14
Dillon Soroptimist club invites entries for a hobby show to be held in the Ditty dining room on March 14. Exhibits will cover arts and crafts and a wide range of collections. The show began last year with strong attendance and is planned as an annual event.
