Buffalo Invading Centennial Ranches Alarm Local Ranchers
A herd of seven buffalo roams the upper Centennial valley causing major annoyance to ranchers. Fences and hay corrals are no barrier as the animals feed freely near Picnic Springs ranches. Cowboys have driven them into the mountains, but the herd returns, making feeding poultry hazardous for farmers. The buffalo are believed to be Idaho natives and descendants of a famous bull that once killed a hunter at a game corral.
