The Scandia club at Dillmont park held a successful picnic with about four hundred attendees and over $300 raised. prizes included five dollar trade at Dillon Dry Goods for the men’s 100 yard race won by McGrath, cigar box for tug of war won by Christian Peterson and Erick Hansen, and various gifts for other events including shoes, malt, candy, a pocket knife, bacon, and sacks of potatoes awarded to several winners.
