Households Urged to Buy Extra Eggs for Storage
The War Food Administration urges housewives to buy an extra dozen eggs now and store them in home refrigerators to help solve a looming storage issue. WFA notes 1,400 carloads currently have no cold storage space and that saving 25 million dozen eggs is possible through household refrigeration.
