Beaverhead Board to Meet with Highway Commission
The Beaverhead County board of commissioners will hold a special joint session with the state highway commission next Monday afternoon, June 15, at the courthouse. Clerk and Recorder Albert S. A large group of Beaverhead county boys and girls will attend the A. G. Barnes circus next Monday free, earned through six months of newspaper subscriptions secured by themselves. The offer grants access to the main show, side show, and Wild Wear show, with poorer youngsters needing to purchase separate tickets for the latter two events. Mixed Foursome Golf Tourney Draws Tied First
Last Sunday at Dillon Country Club two couples led the two ball mixed foursome event with a 49 for nine holes. Participants included 188 Mille Adams and Ralph Harding with Mrs Anson Baxter and Dr W H Stephan. The tournament drew many members, refreshments were provided by club ladies, and it marked the season's second event.
