Utah Man Hurt In Accident Near Armstead
Lin Peterson of Salt Lake City suffered severe injuries to his left foot ankle leg and thigh when he slipped from the fender of a moving car near Armstead around 530 pm Saturday Rex Anderson and Sonny Johnson, both of Salt Lake City, were the drivers and passenger. The trio had been fishing nearby and were en route to another spot. Peterson was taken to Dillon by Buster Brown of Armstead, treated by Dr George L Routledge, then sent to Butte for X rays and orthopedic care. The full extent of his injuries was uncertain pending further treatment and observation.

Alleged Ex-Con Held in Dillon Burglary Case
Arrested by city police and turned over to county authorities Tuesday Lester Dagenmeyer was sentenced to three years and Glen Watson to two years in state prison after appearing before Judge Philip C. Dun for an admitted attempt to burglarize the Dillon Hide and Fur plant late Monday night. A homemade alarm frightened them from the building. Chief Dan Mooney said Watson was an ex-convict with a Minnesota record. Sheriff's officers probed Dagenmeyer’s alleged involvement.
