Independent candidate seeks Montana House seat over land law impacts
A Beaverhead County stockman files with the County Clerk to run as an independent candidate for the Montana House of Representatives. He argues a recent state land law harms independent stockmen and pledges to work with wool growers, business voters, and livestock interests to modify the statute. The letter explains his background as a former senator from Beaverhead (1933–1937) and calls for bipartisan support.
