Electric seine gains use in Kentucky waters
An expanded electric seine developed by Kentucky’s Leon ard Joers shows promise on small eastern trout streams. The device uses a 150 foot No 12 wire cable with probe poles and 14 floats, powered by a 6 1/2 horsepower AC generator. It shocks all fish species with minimal mortality and performed well in Elkhorn Creek near Frankfort.
