North Havre area reports strong wheat prospects
Crops north of Havre show better conditions with expected yields near 85 bushels per acre if weather stays clear and hopper damage remains limited. About half the fields hit by hoppers may yield around 60 percent, while southern Havre area crops exceed last year the most. Farmers anticipate higher wheat output and improved prices.
