The Assessor C W Conger completed his annual report to the state board of equalization showing a nearly $60 000 increase in assessable county property. Real estate up $78 160 while personal property declined $17 656. Mortgage values fell from $106 983 to $76 355, a positive note.
Wm Dunn and H C Stahling, Bannack Montana operators, have acquired the Frank Worthing lead-silver mine near Birch creek head and the Al Sears property including the Viola claim with a $6,000,000 production record. A cash payment around $5,000 to Mr Worthing accompanied closing. the Birch creek mine to be expanded and operated with the Sears property under the Progressive policy of Dunn and Stahling.
Notice is given for a stockholders meeting of Dillon Dry Goods Company at the company's Dillon offices in Beaverhead County Montana on July 23 1921 at 5 p m. The meeting will consider increasing capital stock from 15000 to 40000 and take action to implement the boost. By order of the board of directors A L Stone secretary.
