Helena July 9 Federal and state agricultural officials and Montana farmers begin the seventh annual drive to destroy the barberry bush in grain regions. The campaign, part of a nationwide effort against grain rust, targets plants aiding rust spread. since 1918 nearly 10 million barberry bushes have been eradicated, with more than 11 thousand found in Montana.

Court seal dated May 16 1924.

A hearing is set for July 24 1924 in Dillon to show cause why the petition should not be granted. Publication of the order is required for two weeks in the Dillon Examiner.
