Angle to Succeed Sheridan as Capitol Postmaster
Helena July 2 selection of a capitol postmaster and a new head for state heating plants marked a five hour board session. Earl R Angle was chosen as the third capital postmaster candidate while Dr George W Craven was placed in charge of all heating plants to cut costs. Charles L Sheridan, named earlier to succeed Henry J Baker, may not hold the post long and is expected to become a contact officer and special prosecutor for the Disabled American Veterans in Montana. Savings of about 6500 dollars monthly were cited as the reason for giving Craven control over state owned heating facilities.
