A new oil field town near Kevin five miles east of Kevin, nicknamed Tulsa by oil men, already has a restaurant general store garage and gas station with more buildings planned. Walter F. Brittan of the Rocky Mountain Oil & Gas association notes booming activity and congested highway traffic as operations expand. He cites high daily output at Ferdig wells two east of the field and a Regina Kevin well added recently, while a delegation prepares to press for enforced plugging of abandoned wells before public service officials in Helena.
