A chinook melts high snow. others trek to Idaho and Ogden for cattle work and court matters. Madame Wadams and Frankie Maynard head to California for the winter. Beardslees plan Idaho winter after Lima business. Nina Spencer returns to Lima to lead depot operator’s job. Beaverhead Motors advertises Ford car demos and electric starters.
Charles Morris travels to Lava Hot Springs Idaho for rheumatic treatment after visiting Lima. O H Dahlmer becomes division foreman at Lima Short Line shops. Earl Main returns with a forgery suspect, and Ernest Brothers visits Lima while stationed at Pocatello. A lively school scene details grade programs, new classes, retirements, and student publications.
Next Monday marks the start of the second semester as pupils finish examinations. Thursday January 22 at 8 15 p m will feature the eighth A class graduation and program.

Mrs Walker sues for divorce from Walter Walker alleging infidelity with Miss Latimer during a Yellowstone trip in September and October last year. She cites four nationally famous hotels where they reportedly lodged overnight and seeks $4,000 monthly alimony and restraining orders on mining stocks, cars, and bank funds. Walker is described as a millionaire mine owner in Butte and Los Angeles.
Notice of publication states Northern Pacific Railway Company filed on January 5 1920 in Helena Montana to select under the 1919 act the NEY S W% of section 24 township 10 S range 5 W containing 80 acres. Protests or affidavits against mineral character or other objections must be filed by April 1 1920.
